Kremlin Tapestry Files: Uncovered Documents From Telegram Channel Reveal Scale of Russian Influence in Africa

Logically conducted an investigation consisting of more than 10,000 messages, 1,000 documents, and more than 40 minutes of audio recordings uncovered during the course of an investigation into a previously identified network spearheading propaganda and disinformation campaigns in Africa and found:
Distilled out of these documents, Logically has identified three areas of significance that help shed light on elements of ongoing Russian-backed operations in West Africa. These are:
- A nascent effort to set up a “Pan African Intelligence Agency”,
- A documented relationship between a known Kremlin-affiliated actor in West Africa and a bank with a UK presence
- Previously unknown information about Russian influence in West Africa, particularly Burkina Faso and Equatorial Guinea
